We're please to announce that FRT Founder Kirsty Henderson has been shortlisted for Entrepreneur of The Year Award and Director of The Year Award.
The Semi-Finalists for the inaugural London Venus Awards 2018 have been announced in a glamorous ceremony that celebrates the best businesswomen in London.
On 5thSeptember 2018, WeWork South Bank became host to the Semi-Finalist announcement of the London Venus Awards, with over 60 nominees, guests and sponsors attending to celebrate the very best businesswomen that London has to offer.
Over 500 nominations for brilliant businesswomen were received for this year’s London Venus Awards across 14 categories including Inspirational Woman of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Employer of the Year and Business Mother of the Year. The successful 100 Semi-Finalists come from a range of sectors, from schooling to healthcare, to journalism, to charity.
Katherine Plunkett, CEO of BoB School, a sponsor of the Awards, said: “We were absolutely overwhelmed, not just with the huge number of great applications, but the time that each applicant had taken to tell their incredible story. It has been an absolute pleasure and an inspiration to hear from such a huge variety of brilliant and talented women. Naturally, we think every applicant deserves recognition for their passion, determination, and achievements, so selecting the semi-finalists was no mean feat. But we are delighted with our shortlist and wish them and all semi-finalists the very best of luck with the next stage of the competition.”
The next stage of the awards will see the top three finalists for each category announced in an exciting ceremony at The Ritz and The Venus Awards London 2018 will culminate in a red carpet ceremony and gala dinner at the Waldorf on the 3rd December, where the winners of each of the awards will be announced.
